Mission Trip to UMCOR Sager Brown Depot

Did you always want to go on a mission trip, but never could? Wouldn't YOU like to be a missionary for a week? Well, this is your opportunity! By assisting with funding, YOU ARE being a missionary! Our Windcrest United Methodist church is planning a mission trip to UMCOR Sager Brown warehouse depot 27 April thru 2 May 2014! Sager Brown warehouse depot, located in Baldwin, LA, puts together various types of family kits for global and US distribution: school, health, clean birthing, layette, and sewing kits. Locally, UMCOR Sager Brown reaches out to Baldwin neighbors through food distribution and housing rehabilitation projects, engaging volunteers in these projects that help families and the elderly. We'd like your assistance in funding the trip for our group of 15 volunteers and provide additonal funds which would enable us to provide items needed to make kits.
