Loving Memory of Chris LaFontaine

On July 2, 2021 our family received some very shocking and devastating news. We learned that my brother Chris had been murdered inside his home. Do to the nature of his death we weren’t given many details, only that 2 people had been arrested and 1 more had gotten away. The last two weeks have been a living nightmare for my family. The first week was spent in shock. One week ago on my mother’s birthday we were told along with the rest of the world that not one but two fugitives had been arrested for his murder. Along with that news also came the details of his death. This news was devastating to our family. Especially his children. These evil monsters not only took my brothers life, they took a father away from his children, a grandfather away from his grandsons, a son away from his mother, a brother away from his siblings, an uncle away from his nieces and nephews, and they took a friend away from a lot of people. 

Chris was always there for people. He’d go out of his way to help a friend or neighbor in need.  Which makes it even more difficult to learn that the people that killed him were at one point considered to be friends. 

His children were not financially prepared for his death at this time. Trista has two small children at home, Jordan is in the military serving his country overseas, Kyle is a 19 year old young man that is now faced with finding a new home as he’s no longer comfortable living inside the home he shared with his dad. 

On behalf of my niece and nephews I’m asking if anyone is able to donate to his funeral expenses to help them out. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Either through this site or directly to one of his children. 

Please also pray for my family. This is just such an emotional roller coaster.
