Help My Mother Transition Home After Her Stroke
Donation protected
My mother recently suffered a massive stroke that left her unable to walk (she lost the use of her right leg and arm). She can luckily talk, but barely. She is currently in rehab for a few weeks but I am still terrified of the future. I’m not even sure at this point what she will need done at home to make things easier for her, however there are a few definite things I know would help so I’ll start with these (update: items checked are what I already purchased with your help!!):
Walk-In shower ✔️
Wheelchair ✔️
Wheelchair ramp for the house (most costly)
Adjustable Bed ✔️
Lift Chair
Cane ✔️
Walker ✔️
Bed Rails ✔️
Toilet Rails ✔️
Various Grab Bars Around The House
Shower Bench
