During difficult times is when family and friends unite the most. How can I put into words what we feel. Although my sister Solmary Ramos had her own battles, she had the capability to give her all to those who surrounded her in many different ways.
On July 12, 2016 at approximately 6:00pm I received a called that would forever change my families life.
My sister Solmary Ramos was rushed to Saint Francis Hospital having suffered a heart attack. As I arrived to the hospital doctors informed me that Sol was found unresponsive having been unconscious for over 45 minutes, the next 24 hours being crucial only a miracle able to save her. On July 17th my sister was declared Brain dead.
During difficult times is when family and friends unite giving courage, support and love. I cannot even begin to express what we all feel so very deeply. Although my sister is no longer physically with us, I am honored to say that even in death she was able to share the gift of life with others , three other families have received the last gifts that Sol had to offer making her a hero. Only 1% of our population is able to give such gift. Sol happens to be that 1%.
My sister was loved by many, we have received so much support and love in this time of Sadness from so many different locations asking what could be done to lessen our burden that I have created this Go fun me account so that any whom wish to make donations for the preparations or my sisters funeral can safely do so. All proceeds will go directly to the burial arrangements, all donations are extremely appreciated.
