Help Mohammed's Family Survive in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello
, I am Emma. I am raising money on behalf of my friend Mohammed from Gaza to help him afford food, water, warm clothing, blankets, medical care, and tents for him and his family in Gaza.
Here is a message from Mohammed pleading for help: I am Mohammed Yahya Al-Baz, the eldest of five in a family that was once much larger. We are originally from Al-Bureij, but we are now displaced in Nuseirat, near the Netzarim corridor on the border of Israel. This means that, at any moment, if the occupation advances, we could be displaced or killed in the blink of an eye. The five of us are: Me Mohammed: I am 28 years old, Rula is 18, Hamza is 15, Mahmoud is 20, and my mother is 52.
Once, we lived a simple life with my father. But in 2019, during an attack by the occupation—one of many we’ve endured in Gaza—we lost so much. My father and both my maternal and paternal grandmother were all killed. We have lost so many loved ones, but perhaps the most heart-wrenching loss was my sister’s son, who perished in a fire in the tents. We also lost my cousin, my aunt, and my cousin’s son.
We survived the attacks of 2014 and 2019, and now, as we approach the bitterly cold winter of 2025, we are still here, living in conditions where no human soul can endure hunger, freezing temperatures, and daily bombings.
Please, with a kind and compassionate heart, I ask you to stand with us and support what remains of my family. As the one who carries the responsibility of protecting my brothers, sister, and mother, I would do anything to ensure their survival. But I am powerless without your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Please share our story and become the beacon of hope in a world that seems to have forgotten we are human.
