Voula’s family expenses while on hospice

Hi everyone! If you or your child went to school in the early 2000’s then there is a good chance you will remember Voula. Voula was born with multiple disorders that has lead to a life of hospitalizations, surgeries, and countless illnesses. Voula’s journey has been showcased on tv13, multiple newspapers, and magazines. Unfortunately for the last few months Voula has been placed on hospice care. Each week she takes another decline on her health and her passing is imminent. Voula’s mother has at home with her to help care for her with her hospice team. Voula’s mom does not have family support system since Voula’s mother’s family passed away. It has come to the point where Voula’s mother’s (Kay) bills have surpassed her income because she’s been staying by Voula’s side. As a community I’m hoping we can pull together to help alleviate this burden on Kay so she can focus on Voula. This money will go directly to Kay to help pay her monthly bills.
