Help John get a reliable car!

Let me introduce you to John. John is my neighbor, the sexton at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston, he is Dad to Oliver, best friend to baby Austin, and an all around great and helpful person.

John supports his family by doing odd jobs around Charleston. Including doing some grocery shopping for folks who cannot get to the  store because of Covid or otherwise, yard work and other handy jobs.

John also has the responsibility of transporting his son Oliver to Braxton county twice a month to spend time with his mom.

John's car has over 300k miles on it, and it recently died of exhaustion! He is borrowing our car sometimes, but not often. He does not want to burden us. (It doesn't)

I would like to raise $4000.00 to get a new car to help John get to work and to safely get Oliver where he needs to go. I think we can do that for that amount of money.
