My name is Jessica. I set this page up for my parents who are in need of support while we help my brother battle a kidney disease. 
My brother,, Jospeph, was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy, also know as Berger's Disease. It is a kidney disease with no cure. Basically, it hampers the kidneys ability to filter waste from your blood. Joe is only 28 years old. He is so young. At a time where he should be healthy and care free, he is limited on what he can do because of the side effects of the disease and treatment.

His disease was rapid- he is now in end stage kidney failure and he needs a kidney. This disease has been tough on him. My dad tested and can not donate a kidney. Myself and Mom have a high risk of kidney disease in my mothers side of the family also. Now he waits on the transplant list. He can not work much because he has dialysis 3 times a week for four hours. It leaves him so tired with headaches.  We will do anything and everything for Joe but set up this gofundme to help my parents support Joe. Rent, phone bill, groceries, and other expenses all add up. We want Joe to have money for expenses when he has his transplant and has to be down for 6-8 weeks.
We don't want him to stress about money when he is already fighting.
Joey is very proud and hates asking for help even though he needs it. We do everything we can but We are asking for help. Whatever you can donate will make a difference. Thank you so much for taking time to read this and we know things will get better.
