The #SandFire has burned over 33,000 acres, destroyed 18 homes, countless other structures, and taken one human life.
We are trying be sure there are ZERO animal lives lost while the LAFD and other agencies take care of our human lives.
We've set up a Command and Control Animal and Equine Evacuation team in Shadow Hills with staging areas currently in Acton where there is the greatest need.
We have over 250 volunteers to evac animals and 100's more waiting to donate time. What we need now is funding for those that have taken in animals. They need feed, hay, resources so we are starting an official funding page to collect donations for those who have helped care for those rescued.
