Help Thomas Walk And Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Meet Thomas, a gorgeous blue pittie. He was removed from his home for lack of medical care by our wonderful Indianapolis Animal Care and Control. He's just 8-9 months old and already has faced more than anyone can imagine. He had some use of his left leg but lost that just before he came into Needy Claws care, on July 6th. It was suspected he had a disc issue, but an MRI done last week indicates possible infection, but our neurologist Dr. Cross is thinking that his visible mass and elevated white cell count point to lymphoma. He's not out of the woods but surgery could help relieve pain and discomfort, and maybe someday walk.
Thomas is the most gentle and loving boy. We will post pics showing you just how loving he is. He has made friends with his foster siblings, cats and dogs, and every human that meets him. He's getting temporary wheels to help him get around, as we know he just wants to run. But, we hope he won't need them someday.
We are receiving a rescue rate of $1500 for his surgery, he will need ongoing care and depending on what is found, that could be any dollar amount. We are setting this at $2500 to ensure we can pay his surgery bill and hopefully raise enough to provide ongoing care.
His surgery is Thursday, July 28, 2016. We are able to put a down payment down and not pay in full Thursday, would you help us get the bill paid in full?
Should we receive more than he needs, this will go towards the general fund for Needy Claws. We are a registered federal non-profit and with the Indiana Secretary of State. We are based in Indianapolis, IN, and we focus on special needs and senior animals. You can like us on Facebook and Instagram for even more updates and cute fosters.
