Mike &Trudy Tucker's cancer fight

My name is Wanda Pollard. I have set up this account to help my sister, Trudy Tucker and her husband Mike, with the financial costs of fighting Mike's cancer. Mike will be having surgery August 1st in Charleston, SC . Please pray for God's guidance with the four Surgeons as they remove Mike's complete stomach and a portion of his esophagus. Yes, his whole stomach. The surgery will last for at least eight hours and Mike will be in intensive care unit for at least eight days. This has to be done to save Mike's l ife. You can live without a stomach. Mike and Trudys lives will certainly be changed .
Since Charleston is not where their residence is, Trudy will have to stay in a motel next to the hospital. This is going to be an expense of over a $1000.00. Motels in Charleston are not cheap. This fund will help with Trudys expenses while in Charleston and any other expenses that may occur.
Mike grew up in the Granite Falls area and graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1969. After high
school, Mike joined the Navy. Mike returned home after completing his service to our country and met the love of his life, my sister, Trudy Hefner. Trudy grew up in the St Stephens area. Mike and Trudy were married January 19, 1974. They have a daughter, Toni and a son, Michael, Jr. They also have four beautiful grandchildren. Mike's father, Tommy Tucker along with Mike's siblings , Richard, Jim, Mary and Lisa, still live in the Granite Falls and Hickory area. Brother Tom lives in Virginia. Trudy's mother, Jean Coble and sister Wanda live in the St Stephen's area.
