Meaghan Brown Memorial Fund
Donation protected
My name is Jessica, and this campaign is for Meaghan Brown. She was a dear friend, part of our family and the kindest, most loving person you could ever meet.
Meaghan was always smiling and laughing, and generally full of life. She was in a loving relationship with her common-law partner of 4 years Jason Hancock (my brother), a role model to his young daughter, and a devoted daughter herself. They lived together in their newly purchased home in Fruitvale, BC. She was in love with life, coffee, motorcycle riding, coffee, her family, coffee, her dog and did I mention her starbucks coffee! Monday, July 25th, 2016 that all changed.
Early Monday morning, Trail RCMP were called to the scene of the fatal motorvehicle accident. Police responded and found the 27-year old, Meaghan, deceased at the scene. According to the responding officer, Meaghan was travelling west on her way to work when an SUV travelling east turned left into her; killing her.
Just like that.
Today, Wed July 27th would have been her birthday. We miss her so much already, and this is only the beginning. Instead of days filled with laughter and love, we are preparing a funeral.
She was a kindrid soul to many and an amazing friend. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will help with the unexpected funeral and legal expenses. Thank you all so much for your generousity, it truly means everything to us knowing that there is such compassion in the world.
