My name is Hussein Younis, I am from Gaza. I have dedicated my life to teaching English. Holding a PCELT (Professional Certificate of English Language Teaching) and pursuing a Master's degree in linguistics has been my dream, driven by a deep passion for language and education.

The recent conflict has upended our lives. I lost my house and my job but I am determined to complete my Master's degree in linguistics, which will empower me to contribute more effectively to my community in the future. $10,000 will enable me to resume my studies and continue pursuing my passion for teaching as well as helping in compensating me for losing my job.

Sadly, our lives have been abruptly disrupted by the ongoing events in Gaza. Forced to flee our home, my family and I now find ourselves living in a cramped tent, battling the relentless heat of the summer. The conditions make it nearly impossible for me to continue my studies or to live a normal life.

Our immediate need is to move out of the tent into a safer living space. Rent in Gaza has skyrocketed, with even modest accommodations costing between $700 to $1000 per month. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for 10 months as the events are going on to provide a stable environment for my family.

Starting anew after fleeing our home means we lack even the most basic essentials. We hope to raise $5,000 to provide clothing and essential personal items for my family.

My parents, whom I deeply cherish, suffer from chronic illnesses, requiring constant medication that we struggle to afford. The harsh reality of daily survival has overshadowed our dreams and aspirations. Supporting my parents' medical needs is critical. We aim to raise $10,000 to cover ongoing medical costs and ensure they receive the care and medications they urgently require.

Ensuring everyone's health and well-being is paramount. We estimate $12,000 will cover essential groceries and utilities for some months, ensuring no one in our family goes hungry or without basic amenities.

Lastly, the escalating conflict in Gaza necessitates a safe passage out of the region. We aim to raise $51,000 to cover the costs of securing safe passage for my family members and children, across the Egyptian border.
