Complete My Education!

In 2020, I was offered a college benefit through my union and given a chance to work for a better life for me and my children. I saw this as a tremendous opportunity and was excited to be able to grow in a way that would raise the quality of life for me and my small family. I began working hard and studying. between Work, Kids, teaching Jiu Jitsu, and managing my life as a single father, I found the time to make school a part of my routine. it was busy, it was hard, but it was worth it.

My hard work began to pay off and in a short time I earned my Associates in Business Management. This was exciting and only pushed me to work harder to get the bachelors degree I never thought possible.

However, with only months left to accomplish this goal I had spent 3 years working towards, I was recently informed that my college benefits program was being cancelled. This left me 75% of the way to my goal and no means to pay for the rest myself. I had made a deal, and the other party decided despite my hard work that they weren’t going to honor that deal.

When friends and family heard that this was happening many of them expressed their sympathies and offered to help anyway they could. I thought this GoFundMe account would be a great way to give the people of my life a way to help.

No matter how big or small, all your donations would help, and 100% go to paying the dues for classes and earning the degree I’ve spent the last 3 years working towards. These funds combined with personal money and any other opportunities I can find, could make the difference to accomplishing my goal.
