Justin Maduena - Kindness Repaid
Donation protected
I have decided to start a fundraiser to help my brother-in-law and his family (my sister, 4 nieces and 2 nephews) with some of the expenses and wages lost during his recovery from a kidney transplant.
My brother-in-law, Justin, has done the most unselfish thing a person could do. He has decided to donate a kidney to a stranger. He has undergone all the testing needed and the date for the surgery is set for August 16th, 2016. I just found out that he won't be getting his full pay during his recovery time which will be 8 weeks due to the nature of his job description. The transplant surgery will take place at the University of Chicago which is a little over 3 hours away from where they live. Travel expenses are adding up from hotels, gas, meals and parking on top of not getting his full pay during recovery.
Justin would do anything to help anyone and their family is too proud to ask for help. That's where I, the big sister, steps in. Let's help this act of kindness not go unnoticed!
