World Food Championships Fundraiser

As many of you know, my daughter Rio and I received a Silver Medal at the Canadian Food Championships as Team North Country Fair, where I am the Director of Hospitality and Head Chef, and she is the Volunteer Coordinator.  As a result, we were invited to compete against 50 other chefs/assistants in the World Food Championships in Orange Beach, Alabama in November, but we need your help to get there!

Funds will be used for travel expenses that require booking as soon as possible due to the number of people travelling to this competition.

As the only non-professional chef in my category of Sandwich, being selected to compete at a World level is a lifetime dream come true, and validation that even though I am not a professional chef, the experience I have gained in the North Country Fair Kitchen  has been valuable enough to get myself and members of my team noticed at a global level.

It would mean everything to us to be able to participate in this competition, and will be very difficult to achieve without the support of our friends and community.  Any amount you can help with is grandly appreciated, and if you are not able to help, if you could share this it would be wonderful.
