Cold cot for Angel babies
Donation protected
Update: Thank you for your
donations. We have done well and are closing in on the target. This is an important campaign for all families in the Lewisham and surrounding areas so please share again with all your friends and family.
I appreciate your love and support.
Welcome to our page in memory of baby Nicole Charlotte.
We would love to raise enough money to buy a cold cot for Lewisham hospital. A cold cot enables a family whose baby has died to spend a little bit more time with them. The cot cools the baby slowing down the natural processes that occur after death.
We welcomed Nicole into the world 11th July 2016 and sadly due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck she was a still birth.
At the same time we were at the hospital another couple whose twins had died were using the cold cot. Unfortunately the hospital only has one so while the couple were using it to spend longer with their babies, that meant we lost out on extra precious time with Nicole.
Saying goodbye was the hardest thing we had to do. I am hoping to help other parents going through the same thing. Finally I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my page. Although I didn't get to feel like a Mum for long I will always be an 'Angel Mum' - A woman who has to carry her baby in heart and not in her arms.
Please share this this page with others and all donations are appreciated.
