Phoenix Emporium Recovery Fund
Donation protected
The Phoenix Emporium in Ellicott City was devasted by Saturday's historic flood. I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our community. We will rebuild and we will reopen.
The Phoenix's success has always been a direct result of the incredible employees who have become our family. Despite the unimaginable terror they went through Saturday night, they safely returned 28 of our customers home to their families.
My employees need your help. Our flood insurance does not cover business interruption or employee wages. Ellicott City will remain closed for an extended period of time. We are trying to locate employment for our staff.
They need help with living expenses, rent, car payments, etc. It is our hope that by creating a fund for them, they will be able to return to work with us when we a finally able to do so.
100% of your donations will go DIRECTLY to our employees. Any amounts left over will be donated to others needing assistance in Ellicott City.
Thank you for any amount you can give.
