Hi everyone,
My name is Cora and I am the stepdaughter of Ron Gorski. As a lot of you may already know, Ron suffered a heart attack on Friday, July 22nd. Due to this, the Doctors discovered that he had major blockages in a few of the main arteries of his heart. They also discovered that his aorta was damaged and needed to be repaired. On Monday, July 25th Ron underwent major open heart surgery. The surgeons performed a quadruple bypass and repaired his aorta. It was a terrifying time for both Ron and our family. Thankfully, in the end the surgery was a success! After ten days in the hospital Ron was finally released yesterday, 8/1. The long road to a full recovery continues at home.
Now that the hospital stay is over, a huge financial burden has been placed on my family. Unfortunately, Ron did not have health insurance. As you can imagine the medical bills coming in will be astronomical. Right now my Mom, Hali, is the only one who can work. With all of the medical bills and hardly any income coming in they are struggling to make ends meet, let alone pay the medical bills.
It is hard for my family to ask for financial help, but we've come to the point where it may be one of our only options. Please, if you could spare anything our family would appreciate it more than ever! I want Ron to be able to concentrate on recovering and not have to stress over the bills that are piling up. We all know that stress can lead to more health problems and we don't want that!
All of the donations received will go straight towards helping pay off the medical bills, purchase his prescriptions, and any other medical supplies needed.
It would mean the world to us if you could help in any way possible. Ron is one of the strongest men in the world and we are confident he will make a full recovery.
