Kevin's Emergency Dental Work

My name is Leanne and this is my son, Kevin. He's seventeen and, as most teenagers his age, a crazy handful. Actually, that's a lie- he's a relatively happy kid, big on computer programming and acting. But we are a family on Disability and he is in desperate need of getting his Wisdom teeth removed. He's in agony most days right now and we can't put things off too much longer. The problem? While our province's Happy Smiles Program covers most of the proceedure, there's still $200 that's not covered and that money will be coming out of the grocery fund- and if you've ever tried to feed a teenage boy you know how expensive that can be. His appointment is set for August the ninth, though I need to pay at least half off by then, the remainder by the fifteenth of the month.
When my Wisdom's came in, I couldn't get them removed and I remember the blinding pain I was in. The last thing I want is for my son to go through what I did. Every little bit that you can spare will go directly to the dentist, and the money it saves for the grocery fund will go to keeping my boy fed.
