Brandon's Leukemia Recovery

Brandon is like any other 24 year old and enjoys hanging out with his friends, taking his Razr out for a ride and playing with his dog, Dakota. As a young adult, Brandon is just starting out and is now faced with not being able to work for the next year.
I am Brandon's Mom and what we thought were just isolated medical issues, leading to trips to the Dr's and visits to the ER, ended with a diagnosis that we were not expecting. Brandon was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on April 23rd and is currently recovering from a transplant. The transplant was on August 5th and he has a long recovery ahead. We will have to stay in NYC for the next 100 days as Brandon can not be further than an hour away from the hospital.
  Many of his and our friends have asked if it would be ok to do a fund raiser, but Brandon and I are in New York at Sloan Kettering hospital and would not be able to be present.  Brandon thought this would be the next best thing, so here we are. Any funds raised will go towards Brandon's medical bills, insurance and to help cover expenses during his recovery.
Brandon has been blessed with a wonderful support system of family and friends and has a positive attitude. We thank you all so much for your support and we can not express enough, what it means to Brandon and his entire family.
