In Loving Memory of Chad Herbst

Donation protected
Chad was one of those men who always had a smile and never met a stranger.  He would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar. Always willing to lend a hand, full of life extremely talented who loved the outdoors and lived for adventure.
The money raised will be used for his family and surviving nephew.  His Mother Kathi Lewis and Step Father John Lewis had two sons.  They lost their first son tragically a few years ago in an accidental death and now tragically Chad. This money will be used to cover all medical, burial, and any other expenses.  Anyone who has experienced the pain of loss and grief will understand the long recovery process and the expense it takes to get this broken family back on their feet.  Chad would not want to see his family suffer at his expense so we appreciate your thoughtful and kind donation, anything will help,
We leave you with this poem that summarizes Chad perfectly.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

Mary Frye, American poet (1904 – 2004)
