Summerside Mom

My moms purse was stolen two weeks ago. After going to the bank to get out the money to pay her bills, my mother and little brother stopped to have breakfast at the Tim Hortons in Summerside, PEI. While my brother was in the rest room my mom decided to clean up and head to the car. She no sooner opened the car door when she realized her purse was not with her.
As my brother was leaving the store he did not know but he had walked right past the man who had just taken my mother's purse.
Once outside my mom asked my brother to run in and grab the purse. When he returned to the table the purse was gone.
The man who took her purse must have saw them having breakfast. I cannot understand who would steal a mothers purse.
Replacing the money in that purse unexpectedly is a huge struggle for my mom .
Money is not the only worry.Think of the stress, time and money to replace IDs, debit cards and the whole life we carry in our purse.
Some items cannot be replaced - family photos and personal items.
This has been an invasion of privacy she will have to monitor her credit history and hope they do not steal her identity.
Now someone knows what they look like and where they live. That is scary to a woman.
I would like to show my mom and my brother that although there are bad people in the world, they do not our number the good.
I am trying to help raise the money she lost.
