Nate Custer's long road to recovery
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and community,
We are reaching out to ask for your help in easing the unexpected financial burden for two very special people: Nate and Cheryl. Recently, Nate suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while on a business trip to London.
Although Nate is in good spirits and receiving excellent medical care, he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He is slowly regaining feeling on his left side and will require physical and occupational therapy. Additionally, when he can return home, he will likely need a special medical team to accompany him, which will come at a significant cost - even with insurance.
While we are still uncertain about some costs, such as what exactly insurance will cover, we believe it's crucial to begin raising funds now to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety that comes with this unknown. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
Nate and Cheryl mean so much to us and have had a profound impact on our lives. Together, we can ease some of the burdens they are facing. Your contributions will go towards Nate's medical bills, including the cost of the special assistance he will need to fly home. Any remaining funds will help cover lost wages and the multitude of other expenses they will face overseas and back home.
It's difficult to navigate this type of situation in general, but even more so when it happens in a foreign country, far away from home and family. At this time, Nate and Cheryl will likely be abroad for anywhere from three weeks to a month. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. Your contribution will mean more than words could ever express.
