Dear friends and family,
Recently our beloved Barb Czarnik (Chris and Pat’s mom) was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. What we thought to be stomach pain was explained as something else entirely.
Imagine the shock, sadness and fear.
In a blink, thousands of scenarios ran through our minds.
Today, we are still reeling.
There is no cure.
Prognosis is a matter of months.
That’s what the doctor’s have told us.
It’s been a whirlwind of emotion, scrambling to keep up and all the while Barb herself is still in good spirits. Our rock, our foundation, staying positive in light of devastating news.
Due to the aggressiveness of this particular disease treatment must begin immediately.
We are told aggressive treatment will help give her more time to enjoy life.
This is our prayer.
More time.
Giving Barb as much time as possible.
If you’re reading this you already have our thanks.
If you can do more you will have our eternal gratitude.
If you cannot, we ask for prayers.
As many as you can spare.
“Because we will not remember the days.
We will remember the moments.”
All our love,
Chris, Pat, Crystal, Kim and Andy
