My son needs a home for Christmas

This is by far the most embarrassing thing i've ever done but i'm going to swallow my pride and make my life struggle public for all to see in hopes of creating a better future for my son. I've reached a desperate time in my life and i've exhausted all my other options so i'm choosing to reach out to mine and Derek's loved ones for help. For the past 3 months my 4 year old son and I have been homeless, sleeping on family member's couches or in a shared bed. It's been less than ideal but we've made it work and Derek has been a good sport through it all.  He's truly momma's rock! I've been working very hard to find a home and I finally was approved for a new place but as i'm sure all of you know, moving is extremely costly. The Landlord who has approved me has given me until Friday, December 2nd to come up with security deposit money as well as first month's rent. I don't want handouts, i'll gladly work for any donations we may receive. My baby literally means the world to me and i'll do whatever it takes to get him a place to call home for Christmas.
