Allie's Service Dog
Donation protected
The family of Allie Burton is asking for donations in Allie's honor as we are attempting to purchase her a lifelong companion, a service dog, which she will be able to bring to school with her, help her at the doctors, and to be by her side out in the community. Allie has become more of a behavioral challenge as she is approaching her teenage years due to her Autism and Down Syndrome diagnoses. Her behavioral issues and anxiety make it difficult for her to transition out into the community and with reccomendations from therapists and doctors, we feel a service dog would be beneficial and calming to her. As we have been researching service dogs, we've come to find that they come with a high price tag as they will be specially trained for Allie and her needs. We are reaching out to all of our friends and family asking for help to make this possible for Allie. Thank you everyone in advance!
