Sonja Mandt's fund to fight cancer

Hi my name is Mary Beth Short, I was Grand Worthy Advisor of Washington/Idaho Rainbow in 1983-84 and Grand Representative to South Dakota Order of the Eastern Star. My closest friend and fellow grand line officer from Rainbow is Sonja Mandt who I grew up with and she needs a battlefield of people to help in her fight for life.
Sonja was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. She fought the cancer and survived. Unfortunately, the cancer is back and she will need help to battle this latest occurrence.
Sonja has the largest heart and was meant to be a mother and caregiver of many. She is the mother of two wonderful children, Alicia and Dylan, who need to continue to have her as they move through young adulthood.
Sonja has the funniest, loyal, generous man, Lance, who is standing behind her in this fight along with her mother Carol and lots of siblings: Nancy, Bob, Jim, Vicki, Hap and Cathy.
Sonja is a para educator for a school district and has spent many years helping children with various challenges in life. With her loving heart, she has helped many children see their strengths and gain greater freedom in life. She also worked for a number of years for Lamonts and remains in contact with many of her co-workers.
Her co-workers all adore her quirky sense of humor, her push to support everyone, and the generousity that she shares to anyone in her sphere.
All of us in her life, need her in our lives. We need all of you to help her as she goes through this battle. Sonja hates to ask, but she can't do it alone. I am asking for you to to find it in your heart to help Sonja in this mission; we all would be grateful.
I am not only reaching out to the Masonic family but any survivors of, or supporters of cancer. Sonja is a member of Kirkland Chapter #176 Order of the Eastern Star.
This disease is going to take so much money while she is off work. She doesn't have the disability insurance to subsidize her income. Sonja is still financially recovering from her first battle due to the long process of recovery. Please help with anything you can.
