Help a single mom graduate!

Hello! My name is Yawa Hansen-Quao and I’m the founder of a nonprofit women’s leadership nonprofit in Ghana.
I know an amazing single mother in Ghana who needs our help! I have known her for over 13 years and was elated that she recently took the bold decision to go back to school to acquire a degree. She currently works as an administrative officer and acquiring this degree will increase her job prospects and income potential. She has only a year left to complete her coursework and I’m already impressed by the positive transformation I’ve seen in her since she started her higher education journey.
In spite of her best efforts, there’s been some drama in her life that now threatens her ability to continue pursuing her education. You see, for about a year now, her ex-husband has stopped sending child support to care for their son. Countless attempts to get him to honor his obligations haven’t worked. So, invariably the money she ought to be spending on her own education, she has had to divert to her son’s education and upkeep. In spite of the financial hardship, she has been committed to finishing what she started! I’ve been personally blown away by her tenacity and I believe she deserves our help. The money raised here will be used to pay off her tuition arrears and fund the tuition fees and housing costs she will incur in the next twelve months.
This single mom means a lot to me. This woman is ambitious and determined to make a better life for herself and her son. In spite of her issues, she’s constantly helping, supporting and encouraging others. She is such a blessing to others that I feel it would be wrong to stand aside and allow her to be stopped because of her unfortunate life circumstances! Your support would mean the world to me.
We need the funds on or before August 31, 2016. Together, we can keep her in school. YES WE CAN!!
