Help Ukrainian Refugees

Hello,

My name is Irina. I'm a Ukrainian-born US citizen. I was born in Kyiv and lived there until I was 24. I have a lot of family members and friends in Ukraine.

 

I decided to set up this small fundraiser to meet some immediate needs. The money will go to Ukrainian refugees in Poland. I am working with several volunteers in Warsaw and Krakow who help find housing and meet the basic needs of refugees, mainly women and children, arriving in Poland daily.

March 20th, 2022. Major Update:

I'm shifting gears a little bit in terms of who I am sending money to. It will now include help to people who are still in Ukraine. I was hoping to do that from the start, but it took some time to align trusted contacts. I increased my goal to $20,000 and will start sending money to help with necessities for those who are in the country. Stay tuned for more updates.
