Help for Brady

Hey guys some of you already know her but if you don't I want to introduce you to one of my co-workers Alana Brady. I won't go into details but she hasn't been working in her normal capacity I would say close to a year now and is working through process of workers comp without getting into her business a medical issue. She has not been paid at all since January (8 months no income), she is having to borrow money to pay for treatment out of pocket, has gone through her entire savings, has had to cash out her past agencies retirement, and she has credit cards maxed out along with other basic bills she's having to borrow money to pay.
As many of you know the workers comp process takes time and in her estimation she is getting close (a month or two) to getting her pay/back-pay figured out but she's in dire need of some help to get her through until then.
I want to make it clear she did not ask me or anyone for help but I feel like I gotta do something to help my partner out here. She's fortunate she is being helped out by her parents if not she would be in a worse way and even then she says this hardship is weighing on them as well and the whole family is struggling.
This is what I propose and what she has agreed to. The money raised will go towards paying for her treatment, pay for basic living expenses, pay for food, and to pay for fuel to get her where she needs to go until she gets this figured out. Whatever funds are still there when she gets her pay figured out will be donated to charity.
Why should we help her it's simple cause we take care of our own and it's the right thing to do. For work she/we gladly risk our lives to protect and serve our communities so she deserves our help.
Please no comments or complaints on why or who let the circumstances get this bad simply because that's not the important part here. The important issue is we have a young law enforcement officer who is a damn good person who needs our help.
I'm not asking anyone to break the bank here just donate what you can. I know we can raise more than what the goal is to help a friend in need.
