Support our Friends Nigel&Rhiannon
Donation protected
Hi there,
Thank you for coming by this page. We have set it up in support of our friends and co-workers, Nigel Sutcliffe, Rhiannon Pretty and their daughter Autumn, who just turned 1 this month.
Having been privileged enough to be friends, co-workers and even Dragon Boat teammates of these two fantastic people, we are committed to supporting them through a tough time. We think they deserve your support too.
The story may be familiar to some, but for those who are not aware, Nigel has very recently undergone a kidney transplant in Vancouver, and the transplant team must now control the rejection process amidst a series of complications. Nigel just had to be different :).
Nigel will be recovering in Vancouver for several weeks at the very least, so beyond the emotional and mental stressors, there are financial ones. Not just Ferry costs, but also the costs of renting in Vancouver. This is of course, over and above the costs to maintain their own home.
Please, if you are able, consider helping out with the cost of a Ferry fare, something to keep a toddler entertained on the ferry ride, or perhaps best yet, maybe your donation will allow the family to have a quiet celebratory dinner once they make it through all this?
We hope you can join us in lending your support. Even the smallest donation will show that you are sending a positive thought their way as they face this challenge.
