Please help the Soto Family

Hello Family and Friends,

My name is Megan and I've known Kerwin...FOREVER. He is like a brother to me and his family are in need of support. In December, Kerwin was hospitalized with COVID. What was supposed to be a wonderful holiday for the family turned into a nightmare when he developed pneumonia in both lungs and was placed on a ventilator. His oldest daughter, Haley, had to deliver the call to family and friends that he wasn't expected to make it through the night. He was placed on life support in January and by the grace of God, he is still with us. He is expected to recover and is facing a 12 month recovery. It is still uncertain what his new normal will be.

If you don't know Kerwin, boy are you missing out! He is a single father and was the main source of financial support for his household which includes his elderly mother, Carmelle, and his three children: Haley (22), Olivia (19), and River (13). The family also tends to ten snakes, a dog and a cat. He is an amazing dad, brother, son, and friend. He loves to love! He would be so proud of how his children have supported each other during such a difficult time.

Kerwin's older daughters have done an amazing job stepping into the role of provider but the family is asking for additional help. Your support will ensure rent is paid, animals are fed, and food is on the table while their dad continues to fight for his life and come home.
