Michael Bryan Prokopf, 43, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Born on September 12, 1972 to Edward and Patricia Prokopf as the second of three children. He was a lifelong Shreveport resident and recently moved to Bossier City. He graduated from Southwood High School and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, LA.
His greatest joy in life was his 3 children. He was actively involved with Pathways in Dallas, TX; where he submitted his life to Jesus Christ in 2015. One of his happiest moments was when he remarried his second wife, Amy Rainwater, his high school sweet heart. He was great with children and brought joy to those who knew him. Mike was a wonderful man with a huge generous heart and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to this college scholarship fund for Michael’s children.
Thank you very much for your help.
