Help feed the needy.

Hello,

My name is John Tandy. I have started a Nonprofit organization named The Nourishing Needs Foundation. This is a cause that is in great need in the Tidewater community, and as a Professional Chef, I believe that there is no better way to use my skills and talents than to help others who are less fortunate.

The first stage of this goal is, obviously to get food to those who are in need. This would be accomplished by buying non-perishable foods to donate to local food banks and working with local grocery stores, hotels, and restaurants to donate whatever food items they can to help the cause.

The Second stage of this project would be to start up a hot foods kitchen. This would be a place where people in need, could not only come to get non-perishable items but also enjoy a hot meal that is both nutritious and high quality.

The Third stage Would be to operate an Education center that would focus on getting people who are interested in obtaining a career in the Culinary industry, the skills and training that they need to be successful. This would include an accredited certificate that they can place on their resume and present to potential employers.
