Funeral Expenses for Steph Bakke

Our dear friend Sherrie lost her sweet sister on Thursday, August 11, 2016 after a courageous battle with LUPUS. Please help our dear friend and her wonderful family as they make their arrangements for their final goodbye to Steph Bakke, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Any contribution is helpful. Thank you so kindly.

A symbolic gesture left in her wake, a beautiful, sweet smelling rose, left in the place where Stephanie spent her last moments. She fought hard right up to her last breath. Stephanie was a flower to us all, and regularly brightened up everyone's day with her humor, wit, and tact. She was joking with Angie and me despite her worries of what was coming. She was surrounded by so many friends, and family that I know her heart was swelling. Everyone came, and made her feel the love. The Bakke family were so gracious throughout this most heartbreaking and difficult time. I know they appreciated everyone reaching out because they saw how much it made Stephanie happy. I, honestly, have never seen a more loving family, and my heart breaks for their loss of such an important sibling, and daughter. Watching Cheryl bend down over the lifeless body of Stephanie and cry and hug her will never leave my mind. Seeing Sherrie holding her dead sister's hand was so heartwrenching, I cannot put into words what that made me feel. My heart and prayers go out to them because I know how hard this has been, and how hard they worked to take care of Stephanie when it became harder, and harder. Sherrie Bakke, Scott Bakke, Cory Bakke, Steve, Cheryl, Curtis, Cayden, Marshall, and everyone else I may not know, you have treated us worried friends with such kindness, especially while going through so much. I feel honored and blessed to have been able to be there with you. My heart goes out to you. Stephanie was HUGE to so many. This planet has lost a true Angel who touched the lives of everyone around her. Her positivism was infectious, and her absence will be felt. Please be gentle to yourselves and heal. Stephanie will never be gone from us all because we all remember her, and hold her memory close. Thank you to everyone who showed Stephanie the love and support she needed while facing such a challenge, such a fear, such an unknown. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the honor to have known. My prayers are going directly to the Bakke family now because I know it hasn't been fully processed, and more tears are coming. I love you Curtis, Cheryl, Steve, Cory, Scotty, and Sherrie.
