Reyna's Breast Cancer Fight
Donation protected
I'm 28 years old, I'm married and a mother of three children ages 8, 6 and 1. I have dedicated most of my life serving in a Spanish Christian Minstry.
After having my last baby I started feeling a lump in my left breast. I went to get it checked and was told it was nothing to worry about (I was told it was calcium). After about six months I started experiencing minor pain and noticed it had grown bigger. I then went to a different place to get it checked up. They did not like how it looked and felt. Because of me being too young they referred me to get an ultrasound. The ultrasound results came out abnormal and was then referred to get a mammogram a test that I thought I would be getting until I would turn 40 and not at such a young age. And results came back abnormal as well. My last hope was a biopsy.
On July 25, 2016 my biopsy results came in. It was the scariest, confusing, and saddest day of my life. I was officially diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The treatment I will be going through will be: chemotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. This has been a very shocking news to all my family and friends. I am the first person from my family fighting cancer. I'm the youngest of three siblings. One of the hardest part of this so far is talking to my little ones about this.
Some of the treatment costs are not covered by my medical insurance. Transportation and loss of work income from my husband are also affecting us. We sincerely ask for your help. Help me fight this battle.
