Matt's Medical and Funeral expenses

Hi, my name is Michaela, and I am fundraising for Matt Galer, my brother-in-law, and his family. He has been in the hospital in Sioux Falls for 34 days. He had pleural effusion, and his left lung was barely visible through the fluid. Two chest tubes, three thoracentesis procedures, a trip to Cath lab, and numerous CT/MRT/X-rays. All so they can figure out what is the cause of the infection. He is on multiple medications that make him nauseous, making eating unappetizing. He is still hospitalized & we are currently waiting for a bed to be available at the U of MN hospital. Once there they plan on doing a procedure to clean out any remaining infection & try to get his left lung to re-inflate. As you can imagine, medical expenses and travel are getting high. Please help in any way possible, as I know this family will do anything to help other families when they can. 

Update: Matt is now at the U Of M hospital. One for the lasts post I have heard from Heidi is they are doing a full work up and they could be there awhile.

Matt fought a big battle but the battle was to big and his heart was not strong enough. He lost his battle on Thursday night. His children are going to miss him and Heidi is doing her best. Please help if you are able.
