LA Crystal Clean Flood Relief Fund

I am Shane White the Branch Manager of our Shreveport, Louisiana Branch. I am sure you have all heard about the devastating floods that we have had in southern Louisiana. We have quite a few employees that have suffered significant losses and do not have flood insurance to cover the damage, because flood insurance in this part of the country is extremely expensive. Jason Dawson, our BM in Mobile Alabama had 2 feet of water in his home back in Baton Rouge. Micah Peavy, an SSR in Baton Rouge lost two cars and had 3 feet of water in his home. Chris Mire, our BSM in Baton Rouge had 15 inches of water in his home. Ivan Chandra, an SSR in Baton Rouge lost his car. Ken Guillory, our BSM in Lafayette lost his home. Dustin Gotreaux,  our ESP Specialist in Baton Rouge lost his home; his cars; everything.

Many of these co-workers and their families have lost almost everything. Even when homes can be repaired, all of the drywall has to be removed and replaced. Doors are ruined. Electrical is damaged. Carpet and flooring has to be replaced. Cabinets and appliances need to be replaced. They all need to find temporary housing. This is a tragedy beyond belief for these families.
