Miata and family fund

Recently a former student of mine and her family were caught in a horrific house fire. Unfortunately Miata, 9yrs old was trapped inside the house and sustained burns to 90% of her body.
She is currently in a critical condition at Westmead Childrens Hospital and will need lengthy and intensive surgeries over the coming months and years. Miata has recently come off life support and has begun breathing on her own. She has also undergone her first skin graft surgery.
Miata's family has had to relocate due to the damage caused by the house fire. Many of their household items were also lost in the fire.
The funds raised here will be used to support the family to get back on their feet and obviously the substiantial medical costs needed for Miata.
Any donation no matter how small will be appreciated and of much benefit to the family. I ask you all to please spare what you can or at the very least share this page with as many people as possible.
Miata was born with an intellectual disabilty and is a student at The Ponds School. Her understanding of her injuries and what occured to her will be limited due to her disability.
Miata is a gorgeous child who made friends easily and could light up a room with her smile. I was lucky enough to teach Miata throughout 2014 and 2015, so i have a great understanding of what a special young lady she is. Please help Miata and her family through this heartbreaking tragedy anyway you can.
