Our family and friends in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas have been wiped out by the recent
flooding in Louisiana. There have been 20 thousand boat and helicopter rescues since Saturday.
Governor John Bel Edwards says ten people have died form the torrential rain and flooding in
southeastern Louisiana and about 40,000 homes have been affected by the flooding.
This weekend I plan to head down to assist my family. It is my intention to drive a UHAUL truck filled
with relief supplies. The flood waters are beginning to subside, but these people have lost everything!!! I
understand that every single school in Baton Rouge is damaged or destroyed.
Having lived through the Man Made disaster of Chinese Drywall and loosing my home and it’s contents to
this toxic product my heart goes out to all of the families in Louisiana knowing what they face in their
future.
Please help me bring some relief and caring to these devastated families.
These families are in need of the following items:
Clothing
Sheets and bedding
Canned Food
Diapers
School supplies
Bottled water
Mosquito repellant
We are hoping to leaving sometime Saturday morning Aug 20th to drive down to Baton Rouge and deliver these
much needed supplies to the people of Louisiana.
Supplies can be dropped off at my office located at:
2911 George Washington Memorial Highway Yorktown, Va. 23693.
