Lay our Dad to rest

It’s with immense sadness we share the news of our dads passing. Known and loved by so many. Known in El Paso as Stripes by Charlie he was known both near and far, a local legend as he would say.

After a recent fall he would lose feeling of his arms and legs and would proceed with surgery to decompress his spine in hopea of regaining his movement. Unfortunately we had yet to see any improvement and doctors would advise that he may never regain feeling from the neck down. He would spend just a few days in before he was found unresponsive this morning.  We prayed for the best outcome possible. Dad would not want to live confined to this shell of a body. Nor did we want to see him suffer. Although heartbroken, I know my dad is right where he wants to be.  

Rest in Peace Daddy! We love you! You will forever be our legend! 

It’s at this time we as asking for assistance in laying him to rest. We are eternally grateful for any help.

Services will be Thursday July 20. Stephen Catholic Church @ 2pm 1700 George Dieter

 Visitation is at San Jose Funeral Home-East 10950 Pellicano Dr. 3pm-4pm family only Public Visitation 4pm-8pm with Rosary at 7pm

 Celebration of Life will be Friday July 21 details to follow.
