Send Anna to Olympic Hopes

Anna qualified for the 2016 Olympic Hopes Regatta in Sezged, Hungary! She's never competed internationally before, and this is her one and only chance to compete at the Olympic Hopes Regatta, as this event is only for athletes her age and younger.


Anna is excited to represent Team USA for the Olympic Hopes Regatta as a young woman canoeist. She's only trained for two years in this sport but has fallen in love with it and has trained six hours a day, six days a week in rain or shine for over a year to reach this level of competition. 
(This is from when she was starting out just two years ago.)

As one of only four female athletes chosen to represent Team USA as a female canoeist at the Olympic Hopes Regatta in 2016, Anna and her team-mates represent the future of Olympic dreams in women's canoe. 

Women's sprint canoe will make its debut at the Olympics in 2020. Anna has dreams of competing in the 2024 Olympics, and the Olympic Hopes Regatta is a stepping stone towards that competition.

All the funds will go to airfare, hotel costs, training (in Hungary), and the competition costs.
