Firefighter Tim Medical Fundraiser

Tim Roskopf has been an intergral part of the Village of Slinger for the past 19 years volunteering his services as a member of the Slinger Fire Department. If you don't know Tim, he has put in countless hours with his fire prevention program teaching children the dangers of fire in our community. Tim recently started working in the village as the head custodian at St. Peter Catholic Church.  He is also a father of two girls (Abby and Leah) which he loves dearly and is the light in his eyes.  Today we are reaching out to the community to help out Tim.

Six years ago, Tim was diagnosed with an aortic dissection. Basically a bulge in the aorta which is lethal if not operated on.  It involves a very invasive surgery repairing the aorta followed by a very long recovery time.  Through this process Tim has hit it head on and without complaint. 

Two months ago, Tim’s aortic dissection came back and had to be repaired once again.  He will be out for the next 6 to 8 months recovering from surgery. Once again Tim hit this head on and without complaint.  Unfortunately the medical bills have piled up for Tim and he needs our help to get over the hump.  Please find some time to donate for Tim (any amount helps!) so that he can continue to live the same life he had before surgery.
