Please help paralyzed flood victim

Just like so many others devastated by the Louisiana flood I have a special family that has lost everything that I am trying to help. It's my boyfriends family, they live down in Maurepas, LA, normally, yet they had to get out & they are safe at our home now. This is difficult thing to do, ask for donations, but these guys are going to need help. You see Joe is a quadriplegic; he only has neck, shoulder & elbow mobility, he cannot use his hands, he requires 24 hour care; this includes bathing him, feeding him, changing him, making sure his catheter is drained & cleaned, & much much more!! His dad does a great job of taking care of him when they are home, but now they are essentially homeless. We were blessed to have 2 dry homes between my boyfriend & I, so we have enough space for everyone to be comfortable. We are in the process of getting one of our homes ready & this is also taking time & money since the house is older & was empty for some time. They absolutely love living down there  by the water, but living on a fixed income they were unable to pay to have flood insurance.  They would eventually like to move back down there, in due time, however Joe & his dad deserve a fully equipped home to better care for Joes needs. This is of course going to cost some money, and I'm asking for anything anyone can possibly spare to help out. We are hoping to access their home ASAP  & salvage what we can (the water is just dropping far enough so we can get in) I will post pictures and updates as soon as possible. Prayers for strength and peace for everyone affected by this tragic flooding.
