Marvin's Medical Fund
Donation protected
With the permission of my sister, Kim Cooper, I am setting up this fund for my brother-in-law, Marvin Cooper.
Their life as they knew it changed 13 years ago when Marvin was diagnosed with Brain Cancer at the age of 42. Their son was just 6 years old at the time.
Through this 13 year battle Marvin has had numerous surgeries and hospital stays. In the past couple of years, infections have become an additional battle. As a result, it was necessary to have one of his legs amputated below the knee. Due to the wounds he now has, the antibiotics he is taking caused a severe seizure, which resulted in a broken hip. My sister and now 20 year old Nephew have managed to keep Marvin at home so that he can be close to his family; however, caring for his needs are becoming more and more difficult. Now the possibility of surgery and a month long hospital stay may be in his future to take care of the wound infections.
The Coopers’ medical bills and expenses have accumulated during this 13 year battle and are now accruing even faster with the need for additional care. All funds raised will go toward medical bills and other expenses. Any support given will help this family continue to get Marvin the help he so desperately needs.
On behalf of our entire family, we appreciate and thank you for any support given.
Most of all we ask that you please keep Marvin, Kim and Sean in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to fight this battle. The power of prayer works.
