Monica's brain surgery recovery

It started with just a simple white dot in her vision that just wouldn't go away and got just a little bigger and a little bigger. She went to get it checked out. At first they didn't see anything wrong - maybe just stress - we'll do more tests. The CAT scan was good - maybe just stress, maybe this will resolve on its own. We'll do an MRI. Everyone is thinking eye problem. Eye surgeries are pretty amazing these days - might be a fast easy fix. The MRI results were when the bombshell dropped. The words you can't hear for the roaring in your ears.... tumor, brain surgery, compressing optic nerve, against main arteries... on friday evening finding out brain surgery would be monday.
Monica is that person that always brighten the days of everyone around her. That person that always has a genuine smile and a "you have a nice day" for everyone. She had just had orientation at her new job - things were looking great. Then those words - tumor... brain surgery..... optic nerve..... arteries.... the position of the tumor against the main arteries meant just a tiny slip and she is gone from us forever. A tiny slip the other direction and she is blind.
As terrifying as it was - the surgery went great. She went from OR to ICU to a regular room to home in record time.
Now the reality starts to set in - she just had brain surgery. For the next 6-8 weeks she is going to be recovering. Her job is going to be held for her but for now she has no income coming in.
My main goal with this GoFundMe is to raise enough money to let her get through her recovery time and help bridge the gap until she can start her new job. I'm also hopeful hoping that this will help with medical expenses because more than likely they are going to be pretty extreme.
Any help that can be given is very much appreciated. Also I'd like to ask that everyone keep Monica and everyone that loves her in your thoughts and prayers as we all navigate this difficult time together.
Cherish every moment with those you love, let go of the little irritations and concentrate on enjoying the time you have with each and every person you love. Life can take a drastic turn for any one at any time.
