Taylor McCranie's GoFundMe
Donation protected
My name is Misti Robinson and I am close friends with Crystal McDaniel. Taylor McCranie, 18 years old, who is the daughter of Eddie McCranie and Crystal McDaniel, had a terrible medical emergency on the morning of August 19, 2016. Taylor was asleep upstairs when she began having a headache. Taylor went downstairs to tell her mom, Crystal, about the headache. Soon after, Taylor began throwing up and became cold and clammy. She was taken to Houston Medical Center. On the way to the hospital, Taylor became unconscious and unresponsive. At Houston, Taylor was placed on the ventilator and a CT scan was done which revealed Taylor had an aneurysm (bleed on her brain). She was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. The plan was to do surgery once Taylor got to Grady. Once at Grady, we learned that Taylor had a second bleed. The bleeding had caused a lot of swelling and pressure in Taylor's brain. The surgery was now impossible because of the swelling and pressure. Taylor passed away shortly after 8pm on Friday night, August 19, 2016.
Taylor lived with her mom, Crystal, and her step-dad, Scott McDaniel, in Bonaire. Scott and Taylor had a special relationship and bond that will forever be cherished.
We will all remember Taylor as the sweet person that she was. Taylor was such a smart girl and was attending Macon State College. She worked at Chick-Fil-A. She loved to eat and never gained a pound!
As expected, there will be a lot of medical bills associated with this. There will be time off work for Taylor's parents as well as funeral expenses. Please help me donate to lessen the stress of this for Taylor's family.
Please keep Taylor's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
