The Great flood BR2016

- [ ] As you know on August 2016,prolonged rainfall in the southern Louisiana resulted in catastrophic flooding that submerged thousands of families and businesses . Because of the large number of homeowners without flood insurance it left many families devastated since many lived in no flood zones. I decided to volunteer my time and effort to help those in need especially since myself and family experienced a lost during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I had the opportunity to meet and help a family , I upon speaking with Mr.H I learned that he is legally blind, have no local family or friends to assist. They have lived in their home for over 40 years and never thought they would ever have to be concerned with flood insurance because they lived in a no flood zone. I am coming to you today asking for anything you can give to help this family restore and rebuild their home. This money will go directly to the family (no organizations ). I and they would appreciate anything you give .
