The Lulu Fund Launch

To serve our mission: 

* We have an essay  written by our founding board appearing that appeared in Salon on March 22.

* We released data  on March 22 that will further demonstrate the need for our work.  

* We are giving $7,000 in awards at our March 31 gala (below). 

* We have drafted a five year plan -- available for review on our website .

We need to pay expenses related to incorporation and garnering non-profit status, pay for an expansion of our website, reimburse out-of-pocket to our volunteers for expenses related to our gala, pay for our formation meeting expenses, and a host of other nitpicky start-up costs.   Please support us if you can. 

(As with our gala income, funds will be transferred to March Media/which is handling the expenses for The Lulu Fund now.  The donations will be audited by the board at the start of the non-profit to make sure all were spent on behalf of and/or transferred to The Lulu Fund.)
